Ultimately, we all want the same thing. We want to be happy. We want to be free from suffering. And we want to be happy and free from suffering forever.

We strive and struggle and acquire to get to this stage. We accumulate wealth, pursue ‘success’, cultivate relationships and climb ladders of hierarchy.

We do not reflect that whatever we collect and achieve is in time and space where the moth doth eat and rust corrodes.

We have a model that there is ‘me’ and there is ‘the universe’ and the latter has many other people just like me.

And it is my job, in this multiplicity, to get what ‘I’ want and to shape the universe to conform to ‘my’ needs.

We do not understand that, as long as there is duality, there will be conflict and suffering.

Eternal happiness is possible. The Kingdom of Heaven does exist.

But, to get there, you have to drop all notions of “I” and “me” and “mine”. And many sages have affirmed this and shown the way.

This journey does not appeal to everyone. Ram Dass remarked that most people do not want to escape from prison. They just want better food.

And so, I am creating a community of people explicitly interested in their journey of awakening.

There will be exercises and programs to take you deeper into the rabbit hole. And there will be blogs like the four listed above.
